There is currently a very wide range of roles within the “nursing” workforce in its widest sense. This spans a proliferation of clinical specialist roles and also to emergent new roles for support staff at both Nursing Home and community levels. Given the changes in healthcare envisaged substantial opportunities for future nursing and healthcare roles are expected to emerge.
